Super Star Group (SSG) successfully organized a blood donation camp recently at the SSG Center in Tejgaon, Dhaka.
Held in partnership with the Bangladesh Thalassemia Foundation, this initiative aimed to address the urgent need for blood donations and raise awareness about thalassemia and other conditions requiring regular transfusions, according to a press statement.
The event was inaugurated by Mohammad Harun-Ar-Rashid, Managing Director of Super Star Group, who led by example by donating blood himself.
His participation underscored SSG's commitment to corporate social responsibility and community welfare.
SSG employees enthusiastically participated in the event, with many voluntarily donating blood, demonstrating a spirit of generosity and solidarity.
The camp highlighted the importance of regular blood donations in maintaining vital healthcare services.
The event was also attended by Super Star Group’s Chairman, Md. Jalal Uddin; Additional Managing Director, Tofael Ahmed; Deputy Managing Director, Sheikh Sadi Abdul Mojid; and Director of Human Resources, Khandoker Golam Azam.
