Syngenta Bangladesh Limited has celebrated International Women's Day through various programmes in its head office and other site offices across the country from March 8 to 10.
The day was celebrated across the world with the theme ‘Break the Bias’.
According to a press release, the celebration of Syngenta Bangladesh featured a panel discussion and appraisal of new initiatives and different pledges promised by the Syngenta Country Leadership Team.
Besides it also focused on self-awareness discussion, appreciated and acknowledged the immense contribution of the female colleagues.
The female employees also shared their success stories and their optimistic perspective towards the organisation.
During the celebration, Managing Director of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited AMM Golam Towhid promised to continue efforts for the empowerment of women by enhancing their current progress.
He pointed out that Syngenta has provided scholarships to women from marginal families to facilitate their higher education aiming to contribute to our rural economy.
