Syngenta Bangladesh donates rice seed to flood-hit farming community

In response to the current devastating floods impacting the agricultural community, Syngenta Bangladesh has donated Rice Seed to support significantly affected farmers in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) under the Ministry of Agriculture on Wednesday, says a press release.
Syngenta officials formally handed over the donated seed to the Director General of the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE).This donation aims in enhancing sustainability in agricultural productivity, crucial for ensuring food security in the face of future challenges.
The donated seeds will be distributed among a significant number of farmers in the severely affected areas, particularly in location in Cumilla, with the aim of alleviating immediate losses and enhancing the livelihoods of the affected farmers. This effort underscores Syngenta Bangladesh's commitment to supporting the agricultural community during challenging times and fulfilling its industry responsibility.
