Syngenta Bangladesh donates vegetable seeds to flood-affected farming community

In response to the current devastating floods impacting the agricultural community, Syngenta Bangladesh, in collaboration with the Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) under the Ministry of Agriculture, has donated vegetable seeds to support the affected farmers on October 17, 2024.

This donation aims to enhance sustainability in agricultural productivity, crucial for ensuring food security in the face of future challenges, according to a press release.

The donated seeds will be distributed among a significant number of farmers in the severely affected areas, particularly those located in Sherpur, for alleviating immediate losses and enhancing the livelihoods of the affected farmers.

This effort underscores Syngenta Bangladesh's commitment to supporting the agricultural community during challenging times and fulfilling its industry responsibility.
