A five-member team from Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) is set for an expedition to Nepalese mountain Mera Peak under the bank’s initiative ‘Beyond Limits: EBL Conquering Mera Peak’.
According to a press release, the EBL employee team will leave Dhaka for Nepal on April 5, 2025.
Extending his best wishes to the mountaineering team Ali Reza Iftekhar, Managing Director and CEO of EBL, said, “At EBL, we believe in going beyond limits—not just in banking, but in life. The five-member team consists of Samjid Al Asad, Manaf Hussain, Sadik Ahmed Chowdhury, Lincoln Raymond Costa and Md. Imran Hossain. They have undergone rigorous training to prepare for the extreme conditions of high-altitude mountaineering. By conquering this peak, the team aims to inspire fellow employees and adventure enthusiasts nationwide.
