The meeting between CIS-BCCI and Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association in progress in Tashkent
A 4-member delegation of Commonwealth of Independent States- Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CIS-BCCI), headed by its Vice President Mr. Md Ali Deen recently visited Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on a trade mission, said a statement.
The team had bilateral meeting with Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association in Tashkent and signed an MOU with the Association in order to have further bilateral business transactions at the private sector level as well as organising fairs in each other's country.
Mr. Ilkhom Khaydarov, Chairman of Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association welcomed the CIS-BCCI delegates and apprised of the activities of the Association in exploring business with foreign countries as well as internal trade and commerce. They highly praised the role of CIS-BCCI in promoting trade relations with CIS countries.
Bangladesh Ambassador in Uzbekistan Mr. Mosud Mannan also participated in the meeting and urged upon the Uzbek business leaders to have more interaction with business chambers in Bangladesh.
The other members of the delegation were Mr. Mahbub Islam Runu, Director, CIS-BCCI, Mr. Khan Md. Iqbal, General Member, CIS-BCCI, Mr. Ohidul Islam, General Member, CIS-BCCI.
