Traders shut New Market, Chadni Chowk, Gausia Market after fire at New Super Market

Traders at New Market, Chadni Chowk, Gausia Market have decided to shut their markets after a fire at nearby New Super Market on Saturday morning, according to local news portals.

A massive fire broke out at New Super Market, a shopping place between the popular New Market and Dhaka College, on Saturday morning.

The fire started on the market's second floor at 5:45 am and spread to other floors, according to New Market Police Station chief Shafiqul Gani Sabu.
