Trust Bank PLC was honored with the ‘Top Ten Remittance Award 2026’ at the opening ceremony of the World Conference Series 2026 (WCS 2026) titled “Branding Bangladesh Beyond Bangladesh”, organized by the Center for NRB at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel, Dhaka, on April 12, 2026.
The award was received on behalf of Trust Bank PLC by Mr. Md. Kamal Hossain Sarker, Deputy Managing Director & Head of Islamic Banking Division, according to a press release.
The program was presided over by Mr. M. S. Sekil Chowdhury, Chairman of Center for NRB. Mr. Zahir Uddin Swapan, MP, Hon’ble Minister of Information and Broadcasting, attended as the Chief Guest. Special Guests included Ms. Shama Obaed, MP, State Minister for Foreign Affairs; Mr. Nurul Haque Nur, MP, State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment; and Major General (Retd.) Fazle Elahi Akbar, Former Force Commander of UN Peacekeeping Forces.
The event was attended by distinguished personalities from business, banking, and various professional sectors.
