Trust Bank PLC has been honoured with the Remittance Award 2026 in recognition of its significant contribution in remittance mobilization during the FY 2024–25, according to a press release.
The award was conferred at the celebration of International Migrants Day and National Expatriates’ Day 2025, held on Wednesday, 17 December 2025, at the Osmani Memorial Auditorium, Dhaka.
The prestigious ceremony was graced by the Honourable Chief Adviser of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, as the chief guest.
The award was formally handed over by Adviser to Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Dr. Asif Nazrul, as the special guest, to Mr. Ahsan Zaman Chowdhury, Managing Director & CEO of Trust Bank PLC.
This recognition reflects Trust Bank PLC’s consistent efforts to strengthen formal remittance channels, expand its global remittance network, and deliver secure, efficient, and customer-centric remittance services to Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs). The Bank continues to play an active role in supporting the country’s foreign exchange reserves and promoting sustainable remittance inflows.
