UCB becomes new partner of National Football Team

To foster the growth of Bangladesh's national football team and strengthen its position in international competitions, United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) and the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) have formed a strategic partnership.

Through this collaboration, both organizations will work together to promote football’s development and restore its popularity, according to a media release. 

At an official signing ceremony held today (Sunday) at UCB’s headquarters, UCB officially became the title sponsor of the Bangladesh National Men’s Football Team for the next five years.

The agreement was signed on behalf of their respective organizations by BFF President Tabith Awal and UCB’s Managing Director & CEO Mohammad Mahmududur Rashid.

Also present at the event were UCB Chairman Sharif Zahir, BFF General Secretary Imran Hossain Tushar, and other senior officials from both organizations, marking this momentous occasion.

BFF President Tabith Awal stated, "Corporate support is crucial for the growth of football. Sponsorship from organizations like UCB will not only contribute to the national team’s development but also strengthen Bangladesh’s position on the global football stage."

UCB Chairman Sharif Zahir added, "We are proud to be associated with the rich legacy of Bangladesh football. UCB is committed to supporting the national team’s success and will actively work to make football more popular among the younger generation."
