UCB holds 506th board meeting

United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) convened its 506th board meeting on Wednesday (February 11) at its corporate office, with Chairman Sharif Zahir presiding over the session, according to a press release.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Chairman Md Shazzad Hossoin, Executive Committee Chairman Md Tanvir Khan, Audit Committee Chairman Obaidur Rahman FCA, Risk Management Committee Chairman Md Yusuf Ali, Managing Director & CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid, along with other senior officials.
During the meeting, the Board of UCB praised the effective monetary policy announced by Bangladesh Bank. The discussions also emphasised the smooth implementation of banking rules and regulations, along with a commitment to providing excellent customer service, particularly in light of recent concerns over irregularities and corruption in the banking sector.
