United Commercial Bank (UCB) PLC has launched a month-long Entrepreneurship Development Program in Savar, Dhaka.
The program is being conducted under the Skills for Industry Competitiveness and Innovation Program (SICIP) with support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance. Bangladesh Bank’s SME & Special Programs Department is supervising the initiative, according to a press release.
The program was recently inaugurated through a colorful ceremony by Husne Ara Shikha, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank. Md. Ridwanul Hoque, SEVP & Head of Distributions & Strategy of UCB, attended the event as the special guest.
Md. Ayub Ali, Joint Director of Bangladesh Bank, along with senior officials of UCB, were also present at the event.
