Union Bank holds 30th meeting of newly-formed Board of Directors

The 30th Board Meeting of the newly formed Board of Directors of Union Bank PLC was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka, on Sunday.

Mr. Md. Fariduddin Ahmed, the chairman of the board of directors of the bank, presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr. Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Directors Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mr. Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mr. Mohd. Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting.

Deputy Managing Director Mr. Mohammad Iqbal attended the meeting on the occasion. In the meeting, important decisions were taken for the purpose of expanding the bank’s business and improving the quality of customer service.
