Union Bank holds its 27th meeting of Board of Directors

The 27^th board meeting of the Board of the Directors of Union Bank PLC was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka, on 15 April, 2025.

Chairman of the Board of the Directors of the bank Mr. Md. Fariduddin Ahmed presided over the meeting, according to a press release. 

Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee Mr. Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr. Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Directors Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mr. Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mr. Mohd. Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting.

Deputy Managing Directors Mr. Shafiuddin Ahmed, Md. Jahangir Alam and Mohammad Iqbal attended the meeting on the occasion.

In the meeting, important decisions were taken for the purpose of expanding the bank’s business and improving the quality of customer service, the release adds.
