Union Bank holds its 36th meeting of Board of Directors

The 36^th Board Meeting of the newly formed Board of the Directors of Union Bank PLC was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka on 19 May, 2025.

Chairman of the Board of the Directors of the bank Mr Md Fariduddin Ahmed presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee, Mr Md Humayun Kabir, Independent Directors Dr Md Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mr Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mr Mohd Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting.

Deputy Managing Directors Mr Md Jahangir Alam and Mr Mohammad Iqbal attended the meeting on the occasion.

In the meeting, important decisions were taken for the purpose of expanding the bank’s business and improving the quality of customer service, the release adds.
