Union Bank holds its 44th meeting of the newlyformed board of the directors

The 44th board meeting of the newly formed board of the directors of Union Bank PLC was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka, on 02 July, 2025.

Chairman of the board of the directors of the bank Mr Md Fariduddin Ahmed presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee Mr Md Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Directors Dr Md Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mr Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mr Mohd Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting.

Deputy Managing Director Mr Mohammad Iqbal attended the meeting on the occasion.

In the meeting, important decisions were taken for the purpose of expanding the bank’s business and improving the quality of customer service.
