Union Bank holds its 45th meeting of newly formed board of directors

The 45th board meeting of the newly formed board of the directors of Union Bank PLC was held at the bank’s Head Office, Gulshan-1, Dhaka, on 09 July, 2025.

Chairman of the board of the directors of the bank Mr Md. Fariduddin Ahmed presided over the meeting, according to a press release.

Chairman of the Board Risk Management Committee Mr Md. Humayun Kabir, Chairman of the Audit Committee Mr Sheikh Zahidul Islam, FCA, Independent Directors Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam Zahid, Mr Mohammad Saiful Alam and Managing Director & CEO of the bank Mr Mohd. Humayun Kabir were present in the meeting.

Deputy Managing Director Mr Mohammad Iqbal attended the meeting on the occasion.

In the meeting, special importance was laid on increasing the bank’s business, deposit, remittance collection and investment.
