Union Bank organises awareness programme for sending remittance thru legal channels

Financial Literacy Wing of Shariah based Union Bank Limited has recently organised ‘Enhancing Social Awareness for Sending Remittance through Legal Channels’ programme at Moulvi Bazar in Sylhet.

SEVP and Supervisor of Financial Literacy Wing of the bank Md Golam Mostafa was present as the chief guest, says a press release.

VP and Head of Zindabazar Branch in Sylhet Humayun Kabir was present as special guest. Besides, other branch managers, local elite and marginalized professionals of Sylhet were present at the programme.

The importance of remittance, the benefits of sending remittance through banking channels, discussions on the harmful aspects of sending remittance through hundi and video clips were presented at the programme.
