Sharif Zahir, the Chairman of United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB) presided over the 506th Meeting of the Board of Directors on February 11, 2025, at the Corporate Office of the bank.
Among others, Vice-Chairman of the Board Md. Shazzad Hossoin; Executive Committee Chairman of the Board Md. Tanvir Khan; Audit Committee Chairman of the Board Obaidur Rahman FCA; Risk Management Committee of the Board Md. Yusuf Ali and Managing Director & CEO Mohammad Mamdudur Rashid along with other senior officials were present at the meeting, according to a media release.
The Board of UCB praised the effective monetary policy announced by Bangladesh Bank.
Moreover, emphasis was given to the smooth practice of banking rules and regulations and excellent customer service in the face of the burning issue of recent irregularities and corruption in the banking arena.
