United Finance extends support to BANCAT’s Cancer Care Home

United Finance PLC has partnered with the Bangladesh Cancer Aid Trust (BANCAT) to support its cancer care home Mosabbir Alok Nibash.

BANCAT, a non-profit organization, provides financial assistance for medical treatment and holistic care to cancer patients across the country. The organization currently operates two Mosabbir Alok Nibash facilities in Dhaka, providing safe, compassionate accommodation at no cost to patients undergoing treatment, according to a media release. 

Through this initiative, United Finance will sponsor the stay of patients residing at Mosabbir Alok Nibash, helping ease the financial and emotional burden faced by families during cancer treatment.

Commenting on the partnership, Mohammad Rafiqul Islam, Managing Director of United Finance PLC, expressed his appreciation for BANCAT’s efforts.

“United Finance prioritizes impact over profit. We are proud to support the holistic initiatives BANCAT is undertaking to ensure cancer care reaches marginalized communities. Through efforts like these, people can find hope even in the face of cancer,” he said.
