UPAY, Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit jointly organise day-long training workshop on AML & CFT

In collaboration with the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), UPAY organized a day-long special training workshop titled “Fortifying the Digital Frontier.”

The workshop was held at the Learning and Development Auditorium of UCB’s Head Office, where officials from various departments of UPAY participated, according to a media release. 

Conducted by a team of experts from BFIU, the workshop covered key topics including the legal framework for Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), fraud risk management, cybersecurity threats, and preventive strategies.

UPAY officials stated that this initiative reflects the organization’s unwavering commitment to complying with regulatory guidelines, enhancing employee capability and awareness, and upholding integrity and transparency in the financial sector.
