A school in Tangail drew attention of local people as underprivileged children receive the education free of cost due to philanthropic contribution of the school patrons.
The 'Friendship School' began its journey in 2012 in Tangail with a vision to educate the underprivileged children of the society.
A total of 29 underprivileged children were enrolled during the inception of the school, established by Md. Juwel Ahmed, a young journalist.
Initially, three teachers were appointed, currently there are more than five hundred underprivileged children in four branches of the school, funded by the founder himself and some well-wishers in the area.
Juwel Ahmed dreams one day the network of the Friendship School will be extended across the country to educate the poor children.
Along with some well-wishers, he also established an education and charity organisation-Humanity for People.
