11 die in head-on collision in Zimbabwe

At least eleven people were killed late Sunday afternoon after two minibuses collided head-on 49 km from Harare along the highway to Nyamapanda border, police said.

Spokesperson Paul Nyathi said that 10 adults and a child died on the spot after one of the buses' tyre burst, resulting in the bus encroaching into the way of another on-coming bus.

He said, "So far 10 adults and one child have died. More details will be provided later," reports Xinhua.
