An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted 40 km west of Villa La Angostura, Argentina at 16:36:18 GMT on Thursday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicentre, with a depth of 128.26 km, was initially determined to be at 40.8109 degrees south latitude and 72.1177 degrees west longitude, reports Xinhua.
