18 killed in bus-truck collision in India’s Jharkhand

At least 18 devotees were killed and several others injured after a bus they were travelling in collided with a truck loaded with cooking gas cylinders in Jharkhand's Deoghar district

According to PTI, the accident took place at around 4:30 am near the Jamuniya forest, within the Mohanpur Police Station limits.

Inspector General (Dumka Zone) Shailendra Kumar Sinha told the PTI that the 32-seater bus collided with the truck near Jamuniya forest. Traffic Deputy SP Laxman Prasad said the injured were being shifted to nearby hospitals.
