Imran Khan gets bail in 12 cases linked to attacks on army properties

Former Pakistan premier Imran Khan has secured bail from a court in 12 cases filed over the May 9 attacks on military installations in the country.
An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Saturday granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan based on a surety bond of Rs 0.1 million in all 12 cases, according to Express Tribune of Pakistan.
However, Imran Khan will have to stay in jail due to his conviction in many other cases.
He got bail following the win of PTI-backed independent candidates in more than 100 seats in the National Assembly of Pakistan.
Pakistan’s former foreign minister, also a veteran PTI leader, Shah Mahmood Qureshi was also granted bail in 13 cases
Khan and PTI stalwart Qureshi were indicted in the cases on February 6.
