Myanmar preparing for December election, junta chief says

Military-ruled Myanmar is preparing to hold an election in December, its junta chief said on Thursday.

Min Aung Hlaing during a speech at the annual armed forces day parade also urged urged anti-junta groups to renounce violence and pursue political solutions through dialogue.
