French appeals court says it will issue decision in National Rally case in summer 2026

The Paris appeals court said on Tuesday it had received three appeals for a court decision against the far-right National Rally party that saw its leader Marine Le Pen banned from running for public office for five years.

It added in a statement it should be able to provide a decision by the summer of 2026.
