Several people shot in New York City subway station

Several people were shot and explosive devices were found in a New York City subway station in the United States on Tuesday.

The incident occurred during the morning commute at the 36th Street subway station in Brooklyn's Sunset Park neighbourhood, reports Reuters citing local media and fire department sources.

A New York City police spokesperson said that officers were responding to the scene, but did not have details on the number of individuals shot.
