68.45pc students pass SSC, equivalent exams

Around 68.45 per cent of students passed this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations, marking a significant drop compared to last year’s 83.04 per cent pass rate.

A total of 1,39,032 students achieved GPA-5 in this year’s SSC and equivalent exams.

The examinations began on April 10 and concluded on May 13. As per usual practice, the results have been published within 60 days of the exams’ completion. The results were officially published at 2:00 pm on Thursday.

This year, a total of 1,928,970 students appeared for the SSC and equivalent exams under 11 education boards across the country.
