MPS for first half of FY’25 likely on July 18

The central bank is likely to announce the monetary policy statement (MPS) for the first half of fiscal year 2024-25 on July 18, local news portals said citing sources at Bangladesh Bank.

The reports said the committee on formulation of the monetary policy is expected to hold the final meeting on July 14 and the policy would be passed in the central bank’s board meeting on July 16.

Besides, the central bank will hold a meeting with economists, businessmen, representatives of research organisations and journalists on Wednesday.
