The Finance Bill for the fiscal year 2024-25 has been passed in the National Parliament.
With Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair, the House passed the bill by voice votes on Saturday.
A general discussion on the budget for fiscal year 2024-25 was held on the day, attended by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and opposition leader GM Quader.
Later, Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali delivered his closing speech for the FY25 budget.
