Foreign exchange reserves increase to $30.36 billion

The foreign exchange reserves of Bangladesh have increased to $30.36 billion.

The country’s foreign exchange reserves had dropped below $30-billion mark after clearing import payments through the Asian Clearing Union (ACU) mechanism on Sunday.

The reserves crossed $30-billion mark on Tuesday as the country received budgetary support of $507 million from World Bank, according to local news outlets.
