India's forex reserves rise to nearly $622.47 billion

India's foreign exchange (forex) reserves rose by 5.736 billion US dollars to $622.469 billion during the week ended Feb. 2, said the country's central bank, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

The Foreign Currency Assets (FCAs), the biggest component of forex reserves, rose by 5.186 billion dollars to $551.331 billion, reports Xinhua.

The Gold Reserves rose by $608 million to $48.088 billion, according to the weekly data released by the RBI.
