Affiliation of seven colleges with Dhaka University to be cancelled

The affiliation of seven colleges in the capital with Dhaka University will no longer exist, according to a decision taken during a meeting on Monday.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan held the meeting with the principals of seven colleges in the conference room adjacent to the vice-chancellor’s office.

As per the decision, no students will be enrolled in the 2024-25 academic session under the affiliation. However, existing students will complete their programmes under Dhaka University.
