The application for undergraduate admission to Jahangirnagar University for the academic year 2022-2023 will start on May 9 and continue till May 31.
The probable admission test dates have been fixed between June 16 and June 24.
This information has been informed in a circular signed by Deputy Registrar Abu Hasan, Secretary of the Central Admission Management Committee, on Monday.
According to the notification, this year's admission test will be held in six units. Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Studies and Institute of Information Technology (IIT) under Unit A, Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Law under Unit B, Faculty of Arts and Humanities and Bangabandhu Institute of Comparative Literature and Culture under Unit C, Department of Drama and Dramatics and Department of Fine Arts under Unit C1, Faculty of Biological Sciences under Unit D And the examination will be conducted by Faculty of Business Studies under E Unit.
Besides, to apply for the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), the application must be made online separately per the educational qualification mentioned in the notification published on the above website. Unit-wise admission eligibility and mark distribution related to admission tests can be known on juniv-admission.org.
The notification has fixed an application fee of Tk 900 each for A, B, and C units and Tk 600 each for C1, D, and E units and IBA.
It is known that 34 departments and 3 institutes under six university faculties have a total number of 1 thousand 889 seats. 950 seats are allocated for male students and 939 seats for female students.
