Dhaka University authorities have decided to abolish the use of "gonorooms" in all residential halls.
The decision was made during a meeting with the hall provosts, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof Niaz Ahmed Khan at the Abdul Matin Virtual Classroom.
The university also decided to resume all educational activities on September 22, after a three-month suspension due to the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement.
