Friendship School began its journey in 2012 in Tangail with a vision to educate the underprivileged children of the society.
A total of 29 underprivileged children were enrolled during the inception of the school, established by Md. Juwel Ahmed, a young journalist.
Initially, 3 teachers were appointed, currently there are more than five hundred underprivileged children in 4 branches of the school, funded by the founder himself and some well-wishers of the area.
Juwel Ahmed dreams one day Friendship School will be extended across the country to educate the poor children.
Along with some well-wishers, he also established an education and charity organization-Humanity for People.
