The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations of Chattogram Education Board, Madrasa Education Board and Technical Education Board have been deferred due to natural calamities.
The HSC examination and equivalent exams in these boards will begin on August 27, instead of August 17, due to the ongoing flood situation in the districts under the board.
A notification signed by Dhaka Education Board chairman Professor Tapan Kumar Sarkar said the examinations of other boards will be held as per the schedule.
Earlier, Education Minis-ter Dr Dipu Moni said the examination would be suspended only at the places affected by natural calamities.
HSC examinations will be held on full marks in all subjects except ICT in the revised syllabus.
