Javed Muneer Ahmad has been named chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of North South University (NSU), with effect from July 1, 2023, says a statement.
The appointment comes following Mr. Ahmad, along with other members, was appointed to the NSU BoT by order of the Chancellor and the Ministry of Education on August 16, 2022.
Mr. Ahmad, a founding member of NSU, has been an active member of the BoT since his appointment and brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the NSU's leadership team.
During NSU's pioneering and foundational period prior to 1992 and after, he played a crucial role in the formation and initial setup of the first private university in Bangladesh.
