Jagannath University (JnU) authorities have imposed a ban on political activities involving students, teachers, officials, and staffers on the campus.
The in-person classes at the university will start on August 18, as decided by the JnU authorities.
Prof Md Humayun Kabir Chowdhury, the university treasurer, made the decisions on Tuesday following a meeting with teachers and protesting students who issued an ultimatum with five demands, including a ban on campus politics.
