National University admission fee doubles

The National University has announced a significant rise in the admission fee for the 2024-25 academic year. Students seeking admission to the university will now have to pay a fee of Tk 700, double the previous amount of Tk 350.

The online application process for the upcoming admission test, scheduled for May 3rd, will begin on Tuesday (January 21^st) at 4:00 pm.

The university authorities stated that in the past few years, no admission tests were conducted at the National University. Admission was based solely on SSC and HSC GPA scores, which resulted in lower expenses. This year, an admission test will be held, leading to increased costs for the authorities.
