Trust University has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mont Royale International Malaysia to jointly develop and deliver transformative educational programmes focusing on artificial intelligence, leadership, aviation and hospitality, entrepreneurship and digital skills, and business and global trade practices.
The agreement was signed by Kazi Rafiqul Alam, Member of Board of Trustees of Trust University, and Dr Sugumaran Chellaya, President of Mont Royale International.
The signing ceremony, held in Malaysia, marks a significant milestone in regional academic collaboration aimed at equipping students in Bangladesh with the skills and global exposure necessary for the future workforce, according to a media statement received in Dhaka.
As part of this partnership, students will benefit from:
- Immersive site visits to prominent businesses, international airports, and innovation hubs.
- Cultural immersion activities, including culinary experiences, heritage exploration, and guided excursions in Malaysia and potentially Singapore and Thailand.
- Joint certification of participation and achievement, co-endorsed by Mont Royale International and Trust University.
- Generous scholarship opportunities and an easy pathway for Bangladeshi students to study Mont Royale courses while based in Bangladesh or continuing their education in Malaysia.
- Job creation pathways, with the aim to link educational achievement directly to employment opportunities in both countries.
This partnership reflects a shared vision to redefine cross-border education and provide a platform for students to become globally competitive while remaining connected to their roots.
“This collaboration opens doors for Bangladeshi students to access world-class learning, international exposure, and employment opportunities,” said Kazi Rafiqul Alam. “We are building a bridge between academia and industry that spans across borders.”
Dr Sugumaran Chellaya added, “Together, we are not just offering education we are nurturing future-ready professionals with the skills, values, and mindset to thrive in an interconnected world.”
The programmes under this MoU will be hosted primarily in Malaysia and Bangladesh, with scope for expansion into Singapore and Thailand in future phases. Both institutions have committed to creating seamless learning pathways that are inclusive, innovative, and impactful.
