Former PSC driver Abed Ali owns assets worth Tk 500 million: CID

Former driver of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) Syed Abed Ali has assets worth at least Tk 500 million, including a six-story house, three flats, and a car in Dhaka, as well as a duplex in his village, according to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

CID officials said on Tuesday that Ali confessed to owning these assets during initial interrogation and they believe he may possess additional undisclosed wealth, Prothom Alo reports.

Ali and his son, Syed Sohanur Rahman, also known as Siam, were arrested on Monday for allegedly leaking question papers for a recent railway recruitment test, CID officials said.
