A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck central Myanmar at about 8:54 am local time (0224 GMT) on Sunday, the country's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology reported.
The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was located about 14.5 km northeast of Wundwin town in Mthe andalay region, reports Xinhua, citing the country's Department of Meteorology and Hydrology.
