Role: Officer

Job Responsibilities:     

• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget.
• Compare actual with budget to prepare monthly budget variance report.
• Prepare a monthly business performance report for each of the SBUs.
• Assist with monthly rolling forecasts by consolidating and justifying data provided by each SBU.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis reports/ feasibility reports as per management instruction.
• Assisted in CAPEX budget allocation and verification, as well as monthly ledger reviews.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so. 

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Finance) from any reputed university.
• Experience: 1 year of professional experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and accounts and finance-related activities in any industry is preferred.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting.
• Understanding of budgeting and related activities.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
