Role: Deputy Manager

Job Responsibilities:     

  • Assist the Program Development team in establishing log frames, M&E work plans, and targets during the drafting of new project proposals as well as throughout project implementation.
  • Assist the Programme Manager and Operation Managers in developing systematic monitoring plans, and AOP and provide feedback to the program on implementation strategies and activities for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the program.
  • Conduct surveys, stakeholder consultations, in-depth interviews, key informant interviews, FGDs, and other tools for collecting qualitative and quantitative data.  Disseminate monitoring findings to the respective staff and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement and establish real-time monitoring systems using ICT. Technical assets to PO for smooth data collation by using ICT. Regularly data download recheck and put feedback from website.
  • Implement and participate in program and project progress evaluation, survey, and program follow-up to advise and recommend tools and strategies to increase program performances and results.
  • Capture quantitative and qualitative data to report on program performance indicators and prepare quarterly, half-yearly, and annual progress reports on UDP’s programmatic activities.
  • Coordinate with field level for MIS data collection and management as well as senior level.
  • Identify and document case studies on significant success or failure, as well as on programmatic learning and good practices. Write and edit content for communications materials including op­eds, blog articles, press releases, event reports, website content, etc.

Safeguarding Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.

Requirements: 

  • Masters in any other relevant subject from any recognized university.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a national or international development organization at an equivalent position in the field of M&E and Knowledge Management or any relevant field.

Job Location: Head Office, Dhaka.
