Role: Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure achievement of BYLC's vision, mission, and goals.
• Promote BYLC values.
• Ensure the development and implementation of strategic plans and priorities for BYLC and the SDP team in alignment with organizational priorities.
• Ensure teams are well acquainted with the BYLC's organizational goal and prepare their objectives and priorities.
• Take on a pivotal role in meeting donor targets and requirements, ensuring value for money.
• Take on a pivotal role in leading initiatives for business development through the launch of various leadership, skills, and professional development programs.
• Ensure improvement in the operational management systems and processes.
• Ensure documentation of the sessions for continuous improvement.
• Lead curriculum design and development.
• Creating Project Management Systems, including Work Breakdown Structure and Responsibility Matrix, to boost project efficiency.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to meet all project goals.
• Identify external fundraising opportunities and secure new projects for the organization.
• Budgeting and forecasting for projects and their management.
• Collaborate with partners and stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, and educational institutions, to expand BYLC's reach and impact.
• Oversee the planning and execution of youth leadership programs and events, ensuring they are well-organized, engaging, and effective.
• Initiate efforts to cultivate a robust alumni community.
• Any task assigned by the line manager.

Requirements: 

• Master's degree in education, development studies, public administration, business administration, and other relevant subjects.
• A minimum of seven years of professional experience is required, including four years in a managerial and teaching role. This should be accompanied by a proven track record in partnership and business development, project management, and expertise in training and management.
