Role: General Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute bottling business strategies to achieve short and long-term goals
- Responsible for directing the business to provide maximum profit and return on invested capital; establishing short and medium-term objectives, plans, and policies.
- Plan, direct, and control the activities of the bottler to accomplish budgeted financial objectives in terms of cash operating profit, economic profit, and volume targets established by the Managing company and the Board.
- Put in place infrastructure to maximize returns on investment about the invested funds, while ensuring that market demands are exceeded through superior sales service, and production planning to meet the sales requirements while increasing profitability and productivity within the bottler.
- Supervise, guide, and delegate executives in their duties. Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated. Assess, manage, and resolve critical developments and crises.
- Develop and establish operating policies consistent with broad policies and objectives and ensure their adequate execution. Appraises and evaluates the results of overall operations regularly and systematically.
- Maintain positive and trust-based relations with business partners, shareholders, and authorities. Building and enhancing the company's public profile at events, speaking engagements, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder with Post Graduate Diploma in Management and Business analytics.
- Certification in Strategic Management will be given preference.
- Experience: At least 25 years.
Additional Requirements:
- 25+ years of experience in the FMCG industry with a minimum of 8 years in a Country Managerial position.
- Minimum two (2) Country General Manager positions served in two different countries.
- Previous experience of working in The Coca-Cola System will be an added value.
