Role: Assistant General Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head of Brand and Communication to develop long-term strategies for strong brand building and enhance the brand equity and execute accordingly.
- Assist the Head of Brand and Communication in preparing and implement an effective annual brand marketing budget.
- Coordinating with creative agencies for timely completion of all jobs and leading the agency/partner in the development, execution, and ongoing evaluation of all relevant aspects of the marketing strategy (For Example creative, media, promotion, research, etc.)
- Prepare, manage, and ensure effective outdoor activities, activations and campaigns plan, trade marketing (POSM), and BTL activity and implement accordingly.
- Coordinate with the supplier for different types of gifts, Item sourcing, procurement, and distribution upon discussion with the department head.
- Prepare all different Brand material designs and coordinate Production and ensure event-wise allocation and manage proper brand material stock.
- Vendor management to receive on-time support, check and verify vendors' claims and ensure financial disbursement according to the terms and conditions.
- Communicate with enlisted agencies or partners and ensure support service as per the terms and conditions of the company.
- Maintain strategic relationships and PR with the print and electronic media; and coordinate with advertising agencies and media houses for brand collaterals and brand activations.
- Conceptualize and deploy digital and social media campaigns in line with brand plans.
- Design and implement activations and campaigns as per business needs; measure performance reports and assess ROI and KPIs.
- Execute the campaign according to approved design and budget, Manage ATL, BTL, on-site creative, and campaign management, to drive brand awareness and preference; and ensure planning and monitoring for Monthly and Annual BTL/ ATL input.
- Ensure all types of outdoor branding activities, such as planning, supervising, monitoring, and following up with the stakeholders.
- Plan, manage, and execute GPH-sponsored events, activations, In House events, or programs.
- Ensure extensive market visit both in Trade and Corporate channel customers; plan and cover root level and regional branding activities.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- MBA in Marketing will be preferred.
- Experience Requirements: 10 to 12 years(s).
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Advertising Agency, Cement Industry, Design/Printing/Publishing, Manufacturing (FMCG), Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry), and Steel.
Additional Requirements:
- Age at least 32 years.
- Industry knowledge: An understanding of the steel industry, including current market trends, competitor activities, and regulations.
- Brand and Communication: A strong background in Brand management, Recent Communication trends, Industry Trends, Media Trends, and Innovation.
- Training and exposure in, Marketing Research, and social media marketing.
- A good understanding of various steel products, their applications, and technical specifications.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Maintain excellent communication with all levels of the organization as well as with all divisions within the organization.
- Excellent Writing, summarization, and presentation skills.
- Works effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Capable of motivating others to get results.
- Effective interpersonal and active listening skills.
